Home visits will be made only where medically necessary.
We operate an appointment system here at Well Street. Routine appointments can be made up to 4 weeks ahead.
It is also possible to speak to a doctor or nurse on the phone to discuss your problems.
If you have a less serious problem such as hay fever or a viral infection, local pharmacists can give you advice or use our online triage service, and can prescribe appropriate medications. If you do not pay for your prescriptions, the receptionists can give you a "Pharmacy First Voucher" which means the chemist can give you certain medication without charge. They will advise you to see your GP if necessary. I
YOU SHOULD ONLY GO DIRECTLY TO ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY IN CASES OF REAL EMERGENCY, SUCH AS SEVERE CHEST PAIN OR BREATHLESSNESS, LOSS OF CONSCIOUSNESS, BLOOD LOSS OR A SERIOUS ACCIDENT.
