Travel Vaccinations

If you require vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make a TRAVEL APPOINTMENT with the practice nurse to discuss your travel arrangements. It is important to book this appointment as early as possible – at least 6 weeks before your trip – as some vaccines require multiple doses, and it takes time for your body to develop an immune response to the vaccines. Please come prepared with information about the areas you are travelling to and the dates of your trip.

Please note that we only offer the vaccines that are available free of charge on the NHS. These are Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Cholera and Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio. All other travel vaccines would need to be acquired privately, either from a pharmacy or travel clinic.
